The Craziest Yankee Fan Ever, Dodgers Win, And Training Bat Recommendations
Greetings Sunday Baseball Fam!
DJ here with a midweek post - yes, that’s me in the photo above, I figured it was time to get my mug out there a bit and show the person behind the newsletter.
My wife said I shouldn’t have worn a shirt that matches my couch…but clearly I didn’t think of that.
I’ve set up a studio in my office recently in order to shoot video reviews of all kinds of great baseball products.
The mission of Sunday Baseball is to help families in the baseball community make better decisions when it comes to equipment, training, the recruiting process and basically all things that go into this journey.
While adding in some baseball news and entertainment along the way.
Baseball is awesome. And the baseball community is awesome-er.
But the journey for ballplayers is tricky and difficult to navigate.
Sunday Baseball aims to provide tips and insights from a lifetime of being heavily involved in the game of baseball.
There is a lot to look forward to here. Thanks for being a part of this community.
Now, back to baseball stuff.
In case you missed it, this might be the craziest fan interference you will ever see at any sporting event…with 15 million people watching on TV.
Here’s The Full Clip - Imagine what these guys paid to sit 1st row at game 4 and be ejected within 10 minutes of the start of the game. 🤣🤣
Dumb and dumber.

Didn’t think it was possible, but the story gets even better.
This guy won’t let something small like getting kicked out of game 4 in the 1st inning ruin his night. Just head to the bar and catch the rest of the game
“If it’s in our area, we’re going to D’ up”
Meet Austin Capobianco (middle), the fan that interfered with Mookie. I was talking to him at a local bar when a bunch of other fans asked him to take a pic with him and for his autograph. He was a beaut. Story up soon at ESPN: “If it’s in our area, we’re going to ‘D’ up.”

Featured Offseason Products
The offseason is officially here - which means our training regiment is about to kick into full gear.
Training bats are all the rage at all levels, as they should be, I am a HUGE fan of them.
With so many to choose from, I have selected 3 that I think every hitter should have.
Homewood Bat Skinny Barrel Trainer
This bat is my favorite training bat for ballplayers of all ages. The yellow wiffle ball bat appearance is brilliant, yet it is made of very durable pro grade maple wood that is strong enough to withstand all variations of batting practice. At just $79, this is a must have.
Dovetail Bats Heavy Bat Trainer
The Heavy Trainer/Overload bat from Dovetail Bats is another great addition to any training regiment. Increase strength, bat speed and bat control with the DTB Overload Bat. Currently on sale for $119 down from $149.
Old Hickory Flat Barrel Trainer
Another great option here, the flat barrel trainer is incredibly durable and helps teach ballplayers extension through the zone, or in other words, trains hitters to not roll over. Just $79.
Jordan 3 Retro Cleats 👀👀
Not a typical recommendation from Sunday Baseball, but as someone that grew up in the 90’s as a Bulls fan - these cleats are SWEET!
Look good, feel good, play good…right? (click any photo to check them out)
